Evatech new 'REMOTE CONTROLLED' lawn mower

Evatech, founded in 2003, announced the release of the new TREX Remote Control Lawn Mower (RCLM) with collision avoidance technology. The TREX model was first introduced in 2015 with a forty four inch cutting deck. The latest TREX now offers a sonar based collision avoidance system.

The collision avoidance system option was designed for customers with hazardous storage containers in the work area. This sonar based system was designed for extreme safety.

With a 20 HP remote start Kawasaki engine and dual cutting blades, the TREX 44 can cut through high wet grass on slopes up to 50 degrees. The dual hybrid (electric) drive system allows for a zero turn radius while cutting forward or in reverse. Hybrid drive eliminates the need for hydraulic oil systems and reduces weight and cost. The track ground pressure is 1.16 lbs per square inch.

The TREX has full remote control for start, stop, and motion as well as blade deployment using an Ogura electric clutch . The operating range is up to 2,000 feet from the controller, which has a battery life of up to 20 hours.

The TREX RCLM is designed for steep slopes and inaccessible locations where operator safety is of the highest concern.
